BitCamp is a 24 hours hackathon that will put your skills to the ultimate test. From thinking up your idea to materializing it, Bitcamp is going to put you through a surreal yet rigorous exercise. Students from all over the country will be competing for the top place with coding and innovative thinking as the only weapons in their arsenal.

The hacking starts!
After 24 hours of rigorous coding, the hacking comes to and end. Final evaluation will be conducted by judges and winners will be declared.
If you love to code, and are a student between the age of 18-25, you are more than welcome to participate in the Hackathon.

Even though we will be providing extension cords, they will be limited. So, participants are requested to bring their own extension cords, Wi-Fi will be provided for all. Also the college will be providing proper food, snacks and beverages during the couse of the hackathon
Yes, the ideas submitted by the participants will be the idea they will be working on during the hackathon if the particular team is shortlisted. However, participants are expected to develop the entire hack during the duration of the hackathon only.
There is no restriction to use any language, technology stack, or libraries. You can use any of them to create the web/mobile application. However, ensure that all the technologies you use are open source.
The minumum team size is 2, the maximum is 4.
Maximum weightage will be given to the submitted abstract and its components. However, criteria like GitHub and LinkedIn profiles of participants taken during registration will also be considered. The decision made by CSI - RAIT with regards to selection of ideas will be final and cannot be challenged.
Don't bring anything which can get you in trouble like weapons of any kind, drugs, or alcohol. If you’re not sure whether something will be okay, please ask ahead of time!
Yes, you will have to present it to the judges for evaluation. Also, you get to be proud of what you've made.

The developer/developers of the web/mobile application will have rihts and own IP of product. However, all code needs to be in public domain (open source) so that it can be evaluated by the judges

No, any one team member, who has provided his/her Hackerearth profile link while registration, can log in from their account and do the idea submission on HackerEarth.
